Scott Armstrong has a diverse background in cybersecurity, supply chain risk management, and cyber-security automation, and is currently an Industry Principal at Interos. At Interos he provides strategic insights and operational best practices to enable transformative supply chain risk intelligence solutions to the Public Sector, Aerospace, and Defense markets globally. He is a leader and innovator in AI, cybersecurity, and cloud computing, with over 30 years of experience bringing new technologies and innovative solutions to market. Before joining Interos, he led the Cyber Risk and Analytics product teams at Exostar spanning all aspects of product development, including strategy, product management, and go-to-market activities for CMMC solutions for the Defense Industrial Base.
Scott has a history of building cyber solutions based on industry standards for scalable operations and interoperability, and his industry contributions include participating as a founding member of the Cyber AB’s CMMC Standards and Industry Working Groups, as well as serving as a member for the OVAL (Open Vulnerability Assessment Language) Board. He also has previous executive experience at public companies including UUNET, Fortinet, Symantec, and General Dynamics, as well as at industry startups that experienced successful exits via IPO’s and acquisitions. He holds a degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
