Robert A. Martin, a Senior Principal Engineer at MITRE, has dedicated his career to solving some of the world’s most difficult problems in business and engineering. His work focuses on the interplay of risk management, cyber security, and quality assessment and assurance.

For 25 years, Robert has applied his expertise to international cybersecurity initiatives such as CVE, CAPEC, and CWE, with large active vendor and research communities, and has recently worked on standardizing Software Bill of Materials (SBOMs) through community efforts led by DHS CISA and work in the Linux Foundation and Object Management Group standards communities as well as standardizing Supply Chain Integrity, Transparency and Trust with the IETF, and supply chain security with MITRE’s System of Trust™ framework.
