‍New Feature: Integration with SonarQube and Checkmarx for code quality and vulnerabilities

This feature allows you to integrate your existing sca tools like SonarQube and vulnerability tool like Checkmarx and allow you apply policies and plan for a remediation in a single pane of glass.

Now you will get to see the deep decomposition of your software from Lineaje integrated with the results from your existing tools.

‍

You can now configure your SCA tool – SonarQube and vulnerability management tool – Checkmarx.

Login to Lineaje application (app.veedna.com/signin)
Click on Integration on left nav bar
Click on SonarQube/Checkmarx
Add a configuration and enter the required details including url and token
This would enable the lookup of SonarQube/Checkmarx for every new SBOM

You can look at the issues raised by your existing tools, filter out the data by individual tool and assess the quality of data generated by each tool. This option is available in the dashboard (left nav bar) and the Info tab when you click on a project.

What more? You can now apply policies, generate findings (aka policy violations) and generate a plan for remediation. For example, a policy to detect Code Smell issues found by sonarQube would be – “components with check name code smell”.

You can search for checks carried out by SonarQube or Checkmarx.

New Feature: Tree view for organization

‍

This feature allows users to view multiple organizations in a hierarchy in a user-friendly way. This allows users to be able to manage the projects within the multiple organizations more effectively.

Having a large hierarchy of organizations can make it challenging to manage the projects. Lineaje organization supported a tree hierarchy to enable these organizations. Now the organizations are visible as a tree view to simplify the management of projects. The tree view supports searching , selecting more than one organizations for ease of management. This assumes that user has access to the parent organization and is trying to manage the child organizations.

This option is available on the Dashboard and projects page (from left nav bar).
